  • How Can I Start Working With You?
    You can work with me 1-on-1 by heading over to the "Services & Booking" section and picking the service that best suits your needs. You can also Join The School and get access to a variety of online courses that will help you get exactly what you need in life. If you don't find what you are looking for, then please contact me to discuss how we can best suit your needs.
  • How Should I Prepare For My First Session?
    No need to prepare anything besides a note book, pen, a comfy seat and some water. I know exactly which questions to ask and the process is very comprehensive so you cannot "get it wrong" or "miss anything".
  • Are We Going To Revisit My Trauma?
    No. This is a present moment and future based system. It does not deny your past but there is no need to dig it up. You will be amazed at the healing you can experience with IAT without excavating the past. Only in the first two sessions we will discuss a little bit of your background, nothing too intense, just so I can get an idea of your attachment style, thinking and behaviour patterns. I need this information to create a personalised program for you, that meets your specific needs.
  • Do I Have To Be In A Relationship To Engage In Relationship Coaching?
    Short answer is - no. ​ Integrated Attachment Theory coaching is for anyone who wants to improve their: ​ Mental Health All relationships with self, familial, intimate, friendships & work Grow on a personal level Reparent themselves Change their inner dialogue Release anxiety, fear and self sabotaging patterns Get unstuck and achieve their goals which once seemed impossible Find self love Set healthy boundaries Improve communication patterns Find self forgiveness Release limiting beliefs Heal core emotional wounds
  • What Can I Expect From A One-on-One Session?
    ​Session length: 75min per session, once per week Medium: Online ​ First Two Sessions: Discovery - I will ask you questions about how you think, feel and behave as well as your goals in all areas of your life. You will get to know yourself even more & I will understand what kind of program to create for you. ​ Following Sessions: Short opening conversation & then we head into subconscious mind exercises, communication patterns or whatever is on your specific program. ​ Recommended number of sessions: I do see clients for once of sessions if they need immediate help with a break up or a specific situation, however all the tools cannot be taught in one session and it takes time to reprogram your subconscious mind. You've built a lifetime of coping skills that are deeply ingrained in your personality and nervous system, a single session, no matter how good, will not rewire this. To reprogram your subconscious mind and change your habits of relating, you need repetition and emotion practiced consistently over time. Therefore the best results are achieved in +/- 16 sessions (4 months of weekly sessions) to shift your attachment style Homework: Each week you will receive homework such as filling out worksheets or applying what you have learned to see the changes in your life.
  • I've Been To Couple Therapy Before & It Didn't Work. How Will This Be Different?
    Talk therapy does not work for everyone. If you have left the therapist office feeling blamed, unheard, frustrated and fought with your partner more than ​before you started therapy then this might be an indication that there are deeper, subconscious issues and attachment style patterns that were not addressed. I've been there so I understand your pain and frustration with therapy that doesn't yield effects. ​ The way I coach is that each partner takes responsibility for their own mental health and personal growth. Then the couple stands together as a team to resolve the problem. ​ The relationship is not the problem. The lack of skill and subconscious core wounds (aka triggers) are the problem. (This can be a hard thing to hear when dealing with betrayal, I will address this topic further in a blog post on this website.) ​ This approach takes the pressure off of the relationship. You stop seeing your partner as the enemy and instead find more compassion, understanding and love for each other. ​ Both partners are required to do their own work and grow as individuals which makes this an empowering and collaborative process. ​ Integrated Attachment Theory is specifically designed for healing relationships, starting with the relationship to oneself and flowing outwards ​
  • What Can We Expect From Couples Sessions?
    ​Session length: 2 hours Session breakdown: 45min per & 30 min in a couple Medium: Online ​ First Two Sessions: Discovery - I need two hours per person to get to know you, how you think, feel and behave, you attachment style and your goals. These sessions can be booked individually at different times to your partner. You will get to know yourself and your partner even more & I will understand what kind of program to create for you. ​ Following Sessions: I will see one partner at a time for 45min to work on your own subconscious mind, then we all meet for the last 30 min and work on sharing what you have learned about yourself in your individual sessions. This teaches healthy vulnerability, communication, problem solving & boundary setting while improving connection. ​ Session Scheduling: Each partner needs to be available for their individual 45 min session and both partners must be present for the 30min couple session. It is suggested that the sessions will take place on the same day, consecutively, however if your schedule does not allow for this let me know and we can arrange a program that works for you. ​ Recommended number of sessions:I do see clients for once of sessions if they need immediate help with a break up or a specific situation, however all the tools cannot be taught in one session and it takes time to reprogram your subconscious mind.   • Do You Offer Group Consultations Or Workshops?
    Yes, their are several options for this: 1) I offer a group course called Create Healthy Relationships. You can find out more about it here. 2) I am available to host custom workshops for special events, bridal showers, pre-wedding parties, educational events, wellness days, yoga teacher trainings, school/corporate mental health events as well as talking events on digital platforms.
